Zachary Dillinger is a period reproduction furniture maker who uses only period hand tools to complete his work. He has written for Popular Woodworking Magazine, Fine Woodworking Magazine, American Period Furniture, Early American Life Magazine, and Mortise & Tenon Magazine. He is also the author of two books: With Saw, Plane and Chisel: Making Historic American Furniture with Hand Tools and On Woodworking: Notes from a Lifetime at the Bench. His work has been featured at furniture shows and museums around the country. He has demonstrated period techniques at Woodworking in America, The Furniture Project, L.L. Johnson Lumber Company, The Detroit Institute of Arts and at numerous other historical events around the country.
