Join Thomas Tusano of The Tusano Trading Company at his booth throughout the festival for demos where he will present retrospectives, video and screen-share and theory/discussion the techniques he utilizes to design and layout the blanks he uses to make cutting boards. Thomas has a unique approach to woodworking because he has incorporated the CNC and V carve in combination with other woodworking techniques to create his pieces. In these demonstrations, you will learn about simple CNC design for kitchenware and basic V carve skills with alternative tooling methods. Thomas will be demonstrating both days throughout the festival.

Thomas originally came from Boston, and moved to Michigan for college. He worked on several city improvement projects for the city of Detroit with the Riverfront Conservancy, and now works out of MakerWorks in Ann Arbor as a self-employed fantasy-themed woodworker.
